All-wood Rims I am one of only a few builders using a design first conceived by James Ashborn circa 1850. Our construction differs greatly, and I have modernized some of his ideas to create an "all-wood" rim - an elegant solution for having to drill through the rim to install shoes. These rims display the beauty of the wood, make a stronger rim, and maintain more of their acoustical integrity. |
