NEW MODEL december 2024

For a while now I’ve been thinking about a way to build a different kind of lightweight high quality banjo that we could offer at a lower price point than our custom builds. My goal was to create a unique style of build, taking some of the 1870’s banjo aesthetics mixed with some modern influences, while keeping all the thoughtful banjo components and set-up elements that we have spent decades developing. The end result is a banjo that sounds great, is lightweight, and is very versatile/adaptable. Please take a listen to the sound clips below, as each banjo has a unique set-up and resulting individual tone. All banjos are tuned to dBEAB; first part is claw and the second part is finger style.

All four banjos have:
- Curly roasted maple neck
- 12” drum shell with matching roasted maple outer slat
- Curly roasted maple peghead and fingerboard
- 25” scale
- Fretted to 15th fret
- Hardshell case
